Primary School Activities Collection Drive : Junior School Together we certainly can do great things and bask in the
moments of the shared success that fruits from the collaboration. Junior
School students, believing in the same thought, held a collection drive
between 18th to 20th January 2023 and collected some
eatable and self-hygiene items like hair oil, tooth paste, dry snacks,
different varieties of biscuits to name a few. The things collected were
donated to different old age homes of the city who visited our campus on 24th
January. They thanked and appreciated our children for coming forward for
the noble cause. On 25th of January, 25 of first to fifth graders
were taken to R J Trivedi Suvarna Mandir Trust, to spend
time with the elderly inmates of the Old Age
Home. The children interacted with them wholeheartedly, and in an effort to
break the monotony of their lives, presented various
programs like narrating stories, riddles,
bhajans, songs and playing
musical instrument. The inmates were
overwhelmed by the gesture of these
children and appreciated each one. In
return to a few moments of joy and cheer for the elderly, the students came
back home with a load of blessings and an experience for a life-time. |
