Primary School Activities
Imbued with a great sense of Patriotism
If
our country is worth dying for during wars, we should also realize that it’s
worth living for in time of peace. The astounding special assemblies
conducted by classes 2 D & 5 B to mark the 76th Independence Day
truly honoured the special day that holds a great importance in every
citizen's life. With great pride and spirit, DPS -Bopal, Ahmedabad
participated in the ‘Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ through various events. On
this occasion, special assemblies were held across the school on 12 August
2022 with the theme of Independence and Patriotism.
The campus appeared to be abuzz with a feeling of patriotism and pride.
The participants presented a
series of programmes; sharing information on all things national especially
the Tiranga, a skit portraying Real Vs Reel Heroes and shared their
sacrifices, spreading the message of peace, nonviolence and love for the
nation and a Nukkad Natak- ‘Desh
Hamara Badal Raha hai’, winning many a hearts.
The students spoke about ‘Make in India’ & ‘Vocal for Local’
initiatives by the government and gave out the message to their fellow
students to do their duties with passion and honesty. Patriotic fervour and
spirit was further ignited by patriotic songs followed by beautiful dance
performances glorifying our independence. The Principal Ms Sabina Sawhney,
motivated the students to be responsible towards the society and the nation
and made them realize that we must consider ourselves privileged and
fortunate to have been born in a free India.
